Reviews
Lovely experience at this restaurant, we had a large plate of sushi offered as a deal which was great. The beer was tasty and the service good. The staff were always friendly!
Typical Asian had a craving for rice and found this gem! Fresh sashimi and nicely ratio dragon roll.
Enjoyed the buffet lunch here for €13.90 excluding drinks. Food is fresh, and if is of great value, considering that you also get get some sahimi options (tuna and salmon), some mixed fruit options, fried noodles, dumpings, squid rings, and a local dessert cake (really liked this one btw, it's a nutty crunchy flavour that reminds me of nutella but is not quite it)
A great variety of rolls, lots of salmon options, they all taste great in general. Some that is a sin (fruits wrapped in rice if a Japanese person see this they must be furious haha) really not bad superb value for the price and I wish we have something like that as well in London.
Staff is nice as well and offered to refill options
Such a lovely place!! Great service and great head chef. Such a sweet smiley character. Been here three times for take out and dinner. Definitely better to eat in though. You can get the food from the ramen counter too which we did. The gyozas are amazing. We got the sea bass bao and ramen and the fish melted in your mouth. Wasn't as keen on the pork ramen compared to the fish. The service is AMAZING and so friendly. Even though the place was fairly quiet there is still a great atmosphere.
This place is alive only thanks to its location with lots of tourists, because i can hardly imagine a person who wants to visit it more than once.
First of all,we had a bad luck to communicate with a waitress with a very low level of English comprehension. Also she didn’t know their menu, what they have and what they don’t.
She took the order to oysters, later it turned out they are “not available today”. Instead of ordered large beer we got small and so on - service in general is very indifferent and no one, seeing that she could not cope, did not try to fix something.
Food looks better than it tastes.
Can’t say sushi were bad, just mediocre. 3 stars of 5 , maybe even little bit less.
Gunbao with chicken tandoori was the main disappointment of the evening - I can’t remember have I ever tried in my life something as dry as this chicken. I refused it, however, they included it in the bill (removed after repeated complaint). It is typical tourist trap.
Best sushi we ever had! My sister and I stayed in Faro for 11 days and we have been here 4 times because it's so good, but also the service is great! They have a lot of options in low prices and on a bit higher prices and everything is more than worth it! The people on service and the owner are so nice. They always came to have a conversation with us, made sure our glasses where filled and they even knew our favorite sushi and gave some to us on the house. We had our last day in Faro today and really wanted our last night to be at this place. After we paid they gave us some really nice shots on the house and talked a bit with us and everybody was so friendly and huged us to say goodbye and wish us a nice flight back home. We don't know everybody's names but Susan (I hope I wrote it right) and everybody else, we really want to thank you for making our vacation even better than it already was. If we ever come back to Faro, you guys will be the first place we will visit. Thanks for everything! Love, Amber and Myrthe
Came here to eat dinner, afger someone telling me that the food was really and because of that I got a bit disappointed. I had some high hopes but in my opinion it wasn't anything special at all, not the best thing but also not the worst, just normal food. Unfortunately because of the price I won't recommend it to my friends, I already ate better for much less. Apart from that the staff was really polite and the ambiance there was also really calm and relaxing.
The most tasty food in my life 🙂
Good atmosphere and fair prices
